Happy New Year StitchingFitChics!!!!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Holiday Season. I surely did. I kicked the season off celebrating Thanksgiving, then my birthday, Christmas and finally New Years! I must say the highlight of this time for me was getting to see Janet Jackson live in concert at the BJCC and Man her show was AMAZING!!!! I can honestly say 2017 owes me NOTHING!
With that being said, I hope you guys are ready to start the New Year off with a bang. Don’t know about you all but I’m not big on making resolutions for the New Year simply because I do not follow through with them. So, for 2018 my friend and I decided we would create vision boards. We’ve heard this scripture so many times “Write the vision and make it plain…”(Habakkuk 2:2) but until you actually write the vision and put it in front of you daily, you will continue to break those resolutions. Creating a vision board and keeping it before you will serve as a valuable reminder to you daily of your goals. If you have set some resolutions for 2018, take some time to write it out and display it so you see it every day as a reminder to keep pushing through then, find an accountability partner and share your vision with them. As long as they are sincere about helping you achieve your goals, this will be another way to stay accountable throughout the year. If you need some suggestion and ideas on how to create a vision board check out some of the pins I have on pinterest (click here).
One of my goals for the year is to get healthier and fit. I say this every year but, as I get older, I am realizing this is no longer an option. It is now time for me to get FOCUSED and get it DONE! I realized I seriously only have 3 years before I turn the big 5-0, so quitting is NOT an option this time. So, along with my accountability partner, I need you to help her, keep me grounded. Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram and send me a message when it looks like I am slacking. I promise I will not get mad as long as you are trying to help, ok Pumpkins. LOL!!!
