Pattern Description: Misses' Knit Skirt and Top Pattern Sizing: XXS - XXL. I cut a large. I could have cut the medium but I wanted the extra wiggle room. Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it did. Were the instructions easy to follow? This was a very easy sew. What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This pattern has two pieces for the skirt and One piece for the top. Gotta love that. Fabric Used: Soft cotton knit I bought from Fine Fabrics in Atlanta, GA. Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I didn't change anything on this pattern. The design of the skirt is what made me want to get the pattern. Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Absolutely, I've already cut out another skirt. Conclusion: This is one of my favorites and will definitely be a staple in my work wardrobe. I love easy and that's exactly what this pattern gives you. Its great for beginners because it gives you instant satisfaction that you completed something very wearable. Lately camouflage has been a favorite of mine and when I saw the pattern, I knew what fabric I was going to use to make it. If you have this your to-do-list, move it up the list and make it soon. Also a big shout out to Anita by Design. I used her tutorial to improve my bust adjustment skills and made the shirt I ultimately wore with the skirt. The pattern she used to illustrate this awesome technique is New Look 6458. If you haven't checked out her blog, you should do so soon
